Machu Picchu and Cusco Tour 3 Days – 2 Nights
Day 1: Welcome to the city and Cusco City Tour
Our staff will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name on it. Upon meeting, they will transport you to your hotel. Here, you can try the delicious coca tea, a drink that will help you get used to the city’s altitude. You will then have the option to rest until the start of the city tour, or if you wish, you can take a short walk through the nearby streets. Our staff will pick you up at 1:00 PM. We will head to the group’s meeting place, introduce you to the guide, and begin your tour. We will visit two sites within the city: the Cathedral and the Temple of Santo Domingo – Coricancha. Then, we will head out to the outskirts of the city, where we will visit four archaeological sites: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. The tour ends in Cusco at approximately 6:20 PM. Overnight stay in Cusco.
D2: Full-Day Machu Picchu Tour
The tour many dream of. Our staff will pick you up early (time previously arranged with the transfer). We will transfer you to the train station in Poroy. Here you will board your scheduled train. You will have a beautiful 4-hour journey to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you will head to the bus station bound for the Machu Picchu Sanctuary (a 30-minute journey). Upon arrival at the checkpoint, you will present your tickets and identification. The guide will be waiting for you, and this is where your tour will begin. The tour will take approximately 2.5 hours to visit the citadel. During this time, you will visit: the water fountains, terraces, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries. At the end, you will board the bus back to Aguas Calientes. You can enjoy lunch (not included). Then, you will arrive at the train station 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time and board the train to Poroy. Here, our transportation will be waiting for you. It will transport you to Cusco, and then transfer you to your hotel.
Day 3: Transfer to Cusco Airport
Our staff will pick you up at your hotel 2 hours before your flight departure time. We will take you to the Cusco airport, approximately a 15-minute journey. Our agency’s services conclude at the airport. We bid you farewell and simply thank you for booking your trip to our Wonders of Machu Picchu with our agency.
